are many marching band students who still need to pay band fees for this
year.  The money they raise with the
popcorn sales will go toward their band fees!

   Band Fees    $$$$

Thank you to all parents who have paid
band fees in full for the 2016-2017 marching season.

The Stratford Marching Knights cannot
be successful without these funds!

Band fees are not optional and
need to be paid in full by all students participating in marching band.  This year’s fees need to be paid in full
before next marching season starts or students will be restricted from
participating in certain marching band activities.

band fees are significantly lower (sometimes by 50%) compared to many of the
high school bands we compete against.
Help us keep our band fees one of the lowest in the area!  If you would like to see the band budget
please come to a booster meeting!  The
treasurer has the budget and monthly financial statement prepared and ready for
viewing by all booster members at every monthly booster club meeting.

do not want financial reasons to keep any student from participating in
marching band!  There are many solutions
and ways to help pay your students fees…..just ask!

If you have a financial hardship or problem paying
your fees and need to set up a payment plan or talk to someone please contact
our treasurer, Tim Macon at 843-822-4708 or email him at steelsailor89@yahoo.com.

“A Parent Perspective on Band Fees”

One of my friends asked 'Why do you pay so much money for your kids to do
marching band?' Well I have a confession to make, I don't pay for my kids'
marching band. Personally, I couldn't care less about marching band.

if I am not paying for marching band, what am I paying for?

I pay for those moments when my kids become so tired they want to quit but

I pay for my kids to learn to be disciplined.

I pay for my kids to learn to take care of their body.

I pay for my kids to learn to work with others and to be good team mates.

I pay for my kids to learn to deal with disappointment, when they don't get
that score they'd hoped for

I pay for my kids to learn to make and accomplish goals.

I pay for my kids to learn that it takes hours and hours and hours and hours of
hard work and practice to create a champion, and that success does not happen

I pay for the opportunity my kids have and will have to make life-long

I pay so that my kids can be in the gymnasium instead of in front of a

could go on but, to be short, I don't pay for marching band, I pay for the
opportunities that marching band provide my kids with to develop attributes
that will serve them well throughout their lives and give them the opportunity
to bless the lives of others. From what I have seen so far I think it is a
great investment!
