**Seniors and Senior
Parents**


Please send digital photos of your senior


to Mr. Smith by May 3


to be included in the senior slide show at


band awards on May 9!


Digital copies only please…on a labeled jump drive or CD.  


We will be making a slide show for our senior students
showcasing them from birth to their senior year to be shown at the band awards.  The photos should be baby pictures, younger
years, up to a Senior picture or a current picture. Six to eight pictures will be enough. 


Concessions Leaders needed for next year!

Concessions leaders are busy during marching
season only-2 months long!!

Concession Leaders Responsibilities:


·       
Coordinate
concessions breakout at start of season and pack-up at end of season


·       
Make
all food and supplies purchases needed for concessions at home games


·       
Coordinate
coke deliveries


·       
Recruit
staff to work in concessions


·       
Maintain
concessions volunteer list, coordinating with Volunteer coordinator


·       
Turn
in attendance of volunteers to Treasurer for appropriate volunteer credits


·       
Purchase
waters/Gatorades and ice for band travel (away games/ competitions)


 


o  
2, 3 or 4 dedicated parents/guardians


o  
Freshman or Sophomore parents/guardians or 2, 3
or 4 people/friends


o  
It is at least a 2-person job but 3 or 4 would
be fine too!


o  
Need to have a flexible schedule during
marching season for buying food and Friday night set up at stadium


o  
The job can be divided up so each person is
responsible for 1 part


Spring Band Concert Tuesday,
May 2 at 7pm


·       
Stratford auditorium at 7:00pm


o   Audio CD’s of concert
will be available to pre-order at door for $10 e
ach


 


State Concert Festival - Wind
Ensemble Saturday, May 6


·       
Irmo High School


·       
Call time is 9:00 am, rehearsal till 10:30


·       
Buses depart at 10:30


·       
Concert attire, money for lunch and dinner


·       
Lunch at Columbiana mall, dinner on the way
home


·       
Return to Stratford around 11PM


·       
Stratford performs at 6:20


·       
All parents are invited to attend the
performance! 


 


Band Awards Night!

Tuesday, May 9 at 7pm

In the auditorium


·       
Come enjoy the awards and say goodbye to
our seniors!


Spring Band Camp


·       
Monday May 15th 4:30-6:30 - ONLY 7th,
8th and 9th grade rookie marchers and band leaders


·       
May 16, 17 and 18- 4:30-6:30 - All Marching Band
students- veterans, rookies and leaders


·       
Band Fee Deposit Due- $75   make checks payable to Stratford Band
Boosters
